Tisko
Restaurant operations SaaS — QR-based menu and ordering, table management, live kitchen sync, and analytics for restaurants of any scale.
Tisko turns the smartphone in the customer's pocket into the menu, the order pad, and the payment terminal — all at the same time. Guests scan a QR code at the table, browse the menu in their own language, place orders and pay without flagging down a waiter. The kitchen receives orders live; the floor staff focuses on hospitality instead of admin.
The Solution: A Smartphone Per Table, A Tablet in the Kitchen
The hospitality industry has spent two decades layering tablets, terminals, and bespoke hardware on top of legacy POS systems. Tisko strips the hardware story back to the device every guest already brings — their phone — and the device every kitchen already has — a tablet on the wall. Everything else lives in the browser or the websocket connection.
Guests get a multilingual menu, allergen filters, photos and prices in real time. They build their order on their own pace, place it, and pay through an integrated payment gateway when they are ready. The kitchen sees orders appear in their queue the second the guest taps confirm — no waiter relay, no missed tickets, no handwriting that nobody can read at 9pm on a Saturday.
What We Did: Real-Time on a Custom Stack
Tisko runs on top of Onlainez-fwk — our in-house PHP framework — and leans heavily on the realtime websocket layer (Ratchet) that ships with the core. Tables, kitchen, and bar stay in sync without polling. The multi-tenant core lets the same codebase serve a large beachfront restaurant and a small tapas bar without forking, each tenant configuring its own menu, prices, and table layout.
The QR code per table is the entry point. From there, every interaction — menu browsing, order placement, payment, receipt — is a stateless web flow with optional session continuity if the guest wants to track their tab across visits. No app to download, no friction for the guest, full control for the restaurant.
The Result: Battle-Tested in Production
Tisko is in production at restaurants in Spain, where rush-hour throughput pushed every assumption we had about table service. Service speed went up, order errors went down, and the floor team stopped spending the evening writing down orders and walking them to the kitchen.
Built on Onlainez-fwk, multi-tenant by design, with realtime sync as a first-class concern — Tisko is what running a restaurant looks like when the POS does not get in the way.
